Quick & Easy Colourful Christmas Decor Ideas

As I wind down on the approach to the Christmas break (hurrah!) I couldn't help but feel inspired by these simple and colourful ideas for adding last minute festive decor touches from Mr. Jason Grant. I love how festive a scrap of ribbon placed in a clear, glass jar can feel (not to mention how quick it is to do!)  and hanging baubles from ribbons is something I did in this Christmas shoot last year but I think they also look great when hung from a chandelier. My favourite idea is the pared back, brown paper crackers placed upon a striking red rimmed plate. Simple pieces accessorised sparingly with colourful brights makes for wonderful Christmas decor. When my Aussie mate and Stylist fellow Mr. Jason Grant dropped me a line about his new super colourful stationery line that he designed and styled for Officeworks, I couldn't wait to get my blogging paws all over it! Isn't it fun? I've been a stationery addict for many years and seem unable to stop buying notebooks despite the ever-increasing pile of them on my desk at home. This collection is split out into colours and makes it easy to opt for a colour coordinated look, or mix and match across the hues. Which office spaces and stationery colours are you drawn to? Home Tour: A Stylist's Sydney Apartment

Do you ever see homes that you just want to hang out in or be in invited to a party in? Well, for me, Mr Jason Grant's Sydney apartment is one of those homes. An eclectic mix of texture, colour and quirky animal accessories the space is testament to Jason's talent as a stylist for a plethora of Australian and international interiors titles. One of my favourite rooms in his apartment is the kitchen (I've wanted a Smeg fridge since, like, the beginning of time!) because the open shelving that is bursting with colourful kitchen treats works a treat, and I love how close up there are so many interesting details and objects. As well as the personalised home office space, the roof terrace is a real winner and makes me long to grab that yellow towel and head back here. What do you like about Jason's home?
