It's been over a year since I last wrote about Zoe Murphy and so I felt it was time to post about some of her latest works. Arn't they fun? I find her designs so refreshing and, of course, her bold use of bright colour appeals to my interiors eye. Plus, I like her design motto, 'Love what belongs to you' for it's simple message. I'm sure many of you will recognise her pieces from the pages of the UK shelter mags, but for those of you who haven't come across her playful designs, please head over to her website and have a good nose around!

{Storage: the easy way}

Of course, storage doesn't have to be imaginative or quirky, it can simply be a case of treating yourself to a brand new piece of furniture. I've been hankering after this gorgeous Ordinal Dresser from Anthropologie for sometime now. I love the rustic, battered wood look it has; I don't own many pieces that would 'go' with this item, but hey, I think it looks fab and would tell myself that the 1,2,3 would be my organisation!

Bright.Bazaar has totally fallen for this gorgeous chest and needs to spread the word about his new found love! Isn't it brilliant how the retro feel of the woodwork marries with the flashes of bright colour? Plus the level of detail on the top of the chest adds a new dimension to the piece once you get up close...check out the way the receipt like print on the blue drawer ties in with the Margate mention on the top of the chest - brilliant stuff. This is what I love about furniture; it can tell a different story to all those who use it.
