Sneak Peek: Toast A/W 2012 Collection

This forthcoming collection from Toast encapsulates so many things I love about Autumn: leisurely weekend mornings spent lounging around the kitchen in my pyjamas; not feeling guilty about weekend days spent inside baking a new recipe; lazy afternoons on the sofa with cosy blankets, cushions and a stack of magazines to challenge the Empire State ready to read. The collection also ticks Mr. Bazaar's boxes when it comes to interior decorating for the season. The colourways are in tune with the darker days: deep racing green is paired with jewel-like purple; soft tea green with biscuit and chocolate. The hues work in harmony with the materials - ceramic, terracotta, organic cotton, British wool - all of which speak volumes of the products' artisan beginnings. Plus, the collection is packed full of practical buys, from storage to tableware and bedding basics, showing its balance between form and function. Which pieces will have you reaching for the credit card when the collection goes live next week?

Toast Autumn 2011: House & Home

I went into a Toast store last weekend and knew instantly I had to blog their latest House&Home collection. Staying true to their pared back, country rustic style, the autumn collection offers a range of tactile linens, simple glassware and striking bedding. The handblown glasses have a beautiful shape to them and the week jar candle is lovely. I love how the brand has styled this season's collection; anyone else feeling eager for a little country get away?!

Toast: Spring/Summer 2011 & Market Picks

Toast catalogues never disappoint in the inspiring stakes. Their spring/summer handbook is no different, whisking you off to an exotic land from the first turn of the page. Inside you can expect to find tactile linens, simple stoneware and crockery and plenty of textiles, all of which had me dreaming of alfresco suppers and cool summer evenings by the sea. Anyway, here's a peek inside their latest catalogue, along with some of my top market picks from the new collection. Anything take your fancy?
Toast | Avignon cushion, £65; Linen Dip Dye cushion, £59; Storm lantern, £29; Mango Wood bread board, £35; Weck glass storage jar, £15; Avignon tablecloth, £79; Eve large mug, £19.50; Mei cushion, £25

{Toast: Blue and White}

Toast always get it so right, don't they? If you remember how much I love azure blue, then you'll understand why I'm all excited looking at their scrumptious blue and white offerings this morning. These pieces would be perfect for a relaxing bedroom scheme - I'm thinking pastel shades for the walls, plently of exposed wooden surfaces for warmth and texture, teamed with these calming blue and white accessories from Toast. Yummy.

Ok, so there's some yellow in here, but still the Eve Pottery is divine.

Sigh. This image warms my heart. I'm sure the cotton jacquard throw would be lovely and warming, too!

Checks arn't quite as cool as chevron patterns, but the lovely blue and white hues still make this a winner.

{Oh, hello Toast}

Image: Will Taylor

I ventured into Toast this afternoon and this little vignette caught my eye. The matt yellow and grey hues of the crockery have farmhouse chic written all over them. Love, love, love!
