A few months ago I featured one of Charlotte Love's prints in a 10 Things I Learned & Loved This Weekend post but today I want to share one of her recent test shoots. As well as running an online shop, Charlotte is also a very talented interior stylist, whose work regularly catches my eye in the likes of Good Homes magazine and when assisting the lovely Selina Lake. I think she styled up this pastels story an absolute treat without going overboard and creating a sickly sweet result. Rather, the space feels fresh and organic, not overly forced. Charlotte has expertly paired sorbet hues together, breaking them with the occasional flash of neon - the key to creating a winning pastel scheme. The dip dyed curtain teamed with the baby blue hued wooden chair is such a delight! As we know, pastels are top of the class in both interiors and fashion right now so I hope this shoot sends lots of work Charlotte's way. What a talented, creative and inspiring woman!

ReplyDeleteI love everything, thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteLove this pastel story shoot! She is indeed very talented! Now, can I bring those wooden chairs home? :)
ReplyDeletelooks lovely..i need some pastel in my life.
ReplyDeleteoh my goodness. this is just the inspiration i needed to makeover a few fairly ugly chairs hiding in my basement! those pastels are perfect.
ReplyDeleteVery pistachio ice cream inspired! I like the chairs - somewhat like a girl with a birght dress and nude coloured hose.
ReplyDeletei am crazy about pastel as well. just came back from NYC with lots of pastel and my friend gave me a "WTH" look since I am no longer just picking black and white or navy blue! I'm totally loving minty green, yellow, and even considering pale pink!
ReplyDeleteThese pastels are all so pretty + just adore the typewriter! Those pink-dipped curtains are lovely too. I've just seen Charlotte'shop + love just about everything - thank you for the intro Will! xx
ReplyDeleteThese are some of my all time favourite colours. LOVE that dip dyed curtain and the chair.
ReplyDeleteLove, love, love, love pastels!
ReplyDeleteSo glad my husband loves it too ^_^
i love that first pic: the dip-dyed curtain and then the chair... wonderful. i love that the chair's legs are in natural wood. with this detail the room doesn't feel too girlie, but gives it a modern look. lovely post, Will. lots to pin ;-), have a great day.
ReplyDeleteLove the first picture! So soft and feminine, but not too sweet...Perfect! Thanks Will :-)
ReplyDeleteThese shots are lovely! I think I might snap up the idea of partially painting things. I've already been planning to paint some of my wooden furniture to add a bit of colour. This looks great!

What a pastel dream-wonderland! Lovely. I adore the ombre curtains:-)
ReplyDeletebeautiful, Im loving the chairs, so so cute
ReplyDeleteI've always loved pastel colours (especialy mint) so I'm super excited about this years trend (mint is everywhere). I love the dip painted chairs and the work desk area (that little green clock is adorable).
ReplyDeleteThis makes me want ice cream and candy. Those curtains are to-die for.
ReplyDeleteWould love to see a picture of that entire desk. Too gorgeous! =)
ReplyDeleteI adore the plates! anyone know where theyre from?
ReplyDeleteI love the chairs and the dip dyed fabrics. I'm a little wary of using colors that are on-trend, but Charlotte uses the trend in a way that won't make it look passe a few years down the road.
ReplyDeleteLove those painted chairs!!
ReplyDeleteSo pretty. Love the pastels. Especially that chair and those pinkie dipped drapes and table cloth. Nice job Charlotte!

I love the two toned chairs - very fun!
ReplyDeleteCharlotte your work is beautiful...you make me want to have another wedding or buy a vintage camper van, let you paint it and then sell ice creams! I will keep doing the lottery and when I win you can interior design everything I own! xxx Bex
ReplyDeleteI love the cameras! Do you know where they are from?
ReplyDeletePastels can so easily become too cutesy or too trad, but these images completely avoid that and make it feel fresh, young and contemporary. Hats off to Charlotte!
