The days are short, grey and dark here in London at the moment so I'm craving that throw-open-the-windows feeling that early spring brings. Falling upon Angela Hardison's light-flooded bedroom earlier in the week was, quite literally, like a virtual breath of fresh air: I closed my eyes and imagined the warm spring sunshine flooding my apartment and birds tweeting in the trees outside. Eyes opened and back to reality, I let myself escape for a few moments longer through Angela's pared-back, gently colourful and serene bedroom. Her stripped back scheme of white walls and minimal furniture and window treatments keeps the room feeling calm and restful; un-busy to the eye even. The bed is dressed to add pattern and colour, which is anchored with a yellow table lamp. I don't know about you but I sure do feel inspired! What do you like about Angela's bedroom?

I really like the way the light streams into the room and that cheery yellow lamp on the nightstand. Loads of sunlight and the color yellow both make me happy :)
