Temperatures have plummeted here in London and much of the UK is expecting snowfall over the weekend. Whilst a little tobogganing wouldn't go a miss, the grey skies make me want to dive under colourful sheets, string a pom pom garland across the top of my kitchen cabinets, light some scented candles and bake a cake. What are your weekend plans, friends?

Oh, I envy you your snow! Here it's been so very warm all winter. Not happy. This weekend we have a little thing going on in the US called the Superbowl. You may not have heard of it. American football. Everyone will be watching. Other than that, I have lots of nice about the house plans. My fave. And those stripes and poms are extra cheery! Have a good one, dear.

I like stripes and soft colours, as opposed to the bright colours of the new Ikea yellow and green bookcases you showed recently :) So I like the duvet and pillow covers of the top image, very nice. And also the cute pom pom garland. The weather is nice and warmish in Quebec (not cold as usual here) and I'm still hibernating for some reason.
