Take Your Pick: Sandberg Wallpapers

Well, friends, as we've reached Friday I think we've earned a little Time Out, don't you agree?! So, for today's post I thought it would be fun to choose which of these two wallpapers from Sandberg each of us prefer. The first, Elin, has a summary, country cottage feel to it with a palette of cool blue, cheery red and fresh green completing the look. I like how the paper is only used in to the top third of the wall; it compliments the tongue and groove panelling perfectly. The second paper, Amalfi, is all together very different to the first. This design has a Mediterranean vibe thanks to the citrus vines and delicate flowers within it. The soft lemon and green colourway feels vibrant yet refreshing by the same turn. Whilst I love the space Sandberg used to shoot Elin (that little kitchen is darling!) on balance I prefer Amalfi. Which paper gets your vote?

  1. It's a tough choice...I think I prefer the Amalfi as as well. I seriously love the shade of green of those chairs.

  2. Amalfi definitely - really cosy with that dark floor, and I love the contrasting white of the woodwork and table.

  5. Normally, I'd likely be inclined toward Amalfi, Will. But, I gotta say, that kitchen is just too damn cheery not to vote for Elin! I'd happily bake up a storm and have a cuppa in that space. :)

  24. Hi Will, love this post (but then again I love all your posts). I'm watching BBC America and they are interviewing Sluggs(??) at the Queen's jubilee. Sluggs and the interviewers are sitting on tufted Union Jack sofas. OMG, they are to die for! have you seen them? Thanks again for all your beautiful inspiration, Mary Beth in USA

  25. Oh my, I love Elin (and that kitchen) because it's happy and fresh. Like you, I like the fact that it's used only on top third of the wall. But, I must say Amalfi gets my vote.
