1. The Craspedia's I bought last weekend are still filling my apartment with colourful joy!
2. London looks oh so pretty after a heavy snowfall.
3. Poppy introduced me to these bow tie mugs, which naturally I am loving!
4. If you follow Bright.Bazaar on Instragram you may know I was baking a Victoria Sponge on Saturday - here's the result!
5. Seeing and hearing the delighted whoops of children (and adults!) who were tobogganing on Sunday morning was such a delight.
6. Replaced my tableware with some pieces from this Coastal stoneware range (seen above in #4!).
7. How charming is this cable car print?
8. The super cold weather (as fun as it was) had me dreaming of pulling on these swimming shorts and diving into a shimmering, azure blue pool under blazing sunshine.
9. Love the brush strokes on this cushion.
10. I'm on the hunt for a white, freestanding towel ladder (let me know if you know of one).

Go you! Love that Victoria Sponge! It's a very hard cake to make and get it airy and light, you did very well! Oh and that tabogganing picture is so sweet!

ReplyDeleteI just talked to my sister who lives in London - hope you are enjoying the snow!! xo
ReplyDeleteSo nice, all of it! I hope we get some snow...it's been so mild in NY. And there's nothing better than flowers in the winter, I bought 3 bunches of tulips yesterday and what a nice feeling to see them when I woke up!
ReplyDeleteyour sledding looks like so much fun!
ReplyDeleteLOVE the white ladder, would look very nice with some colorful towels!
ReplyDeleteRight? That's what I was thinking!
DeleteThose bow tie mugs are the cutest!
ReplyDeleteLOVE the pillow with brush strokes! Now, did you go tobogganing as well? Stuff like that stoll give me butterflies in my stomach!
ReplyDeleteoxox, Mon
Yes! I love that feeling when your tummy lifts up - like when you jump off a diving board... so fun! xx
DeleteI'm looking for a towel ladder too. They have a nice bamboo one at West Elm but 3 times the price of the one you're showing. Whoever finds one first, lets the other one know ;) I also love the bow tie cups and coastal stoneware. They do deliver your dishes in Canada but for the price of shipping I would have to order a whole set of 4 to be worth it but I would prefer to buy a little at a time to be able to afford them.
ReplyDeleteSounds like a good plan to me, Stan! Think I might order the one here as it's such a good price!
DeleteLOVE those bowtie mugs! Must buy for the Mr.
ReplyDeleteRight? SO fun!
Deletethose bow tie mugs are fantastic! I need a set for the office :)
ReplyDeleteThat coastal stoneware has me swooning! I sent the link to my friend in London right away who replied within seconds, telling me she had already viewed this in the shop ;-)
ReplyDeleteLoved your Laura Ashley piece.
And yes, baguette and blooms make perfection.
Oh those billyballs!! Can you believe I haven't seen them ANYWHERE here!?!? I am furious! And that dinnerware is so you. Exactly. And so me! LOL
ReplyDeleteThe first one is my favorite. I love the combination of yellow and navy together!
ReplyDeleteThe first photograph is stunning.
ReplyDeleteI love the colours.
And thank you for telling me the name of those flowers too. :-)
Thank you! They sure do brighten up my dining room table!
DeleteLoving those craspedias! So cool that they last so long too - The sponge cake looks gorgeous - I also baked this weekend - red velvet cupcakes - they were actually delicious!
ReplyDeleteRachie xo
love those mugs! and oh goodness I do love that stoneware!
ReplyDeleteMy friend still has craspedias from a wedding maybe 2 years or so ago! I think they dry out well and the color last as well. wont need the water any more but the little pops of yellow will still look great!

Oh dear, this post is a whole heap of trouble for me... or for my bank balance to be precise! I adore those bow tie mugs, the stoneware, the brush stroke pillow... need I say more?
ReplyDeleteOn the towel ladder, I have something similar which I think (can't exactly remember back in the mists of time) I may have bought from Cox & Cox? Aha, just checked and here is the link: http://www.coxandcox.co.uk/products/towel-ladder/in/bath-and-beauty - they have a nice dark wood one too. Or there's a more rustic-style one which we could source for you if you liked it: http://www.nkuku.com/thumb.php?src=prod_images%2Fa_24843distressed+ladder+.jpg&w=122&h=122
