So the lovely folks at
Livingetc pulled out a corker of an issue, guys! It's funny because when I first read the issue (yep - I'm the loser who reads each issue at least twice!) I didn't feel as inspired as I normally do. Maybe it was the chap next to me on the Tube with his oversized, greasy hot dog stinking the place out. Thinking about it, that whole situ kinda killed my moment of the month with
Livingetc (I've been having my
Livingetc moments since I was twelve, which is weird
looking back on it!). Anyhow, I digress because a few days later I was in bed reading the issue for a second time, when it occurred to me the sheets were covered in torn pages. And, well, here they are: My favourite tear sheets from July issue. Some pretty colourful and lovely summer decorating ideas, don't you think? My top pick is the living room with the sofa made out of old palettes, finished with block colour bunting. Which is yours?
Completely love that living room too. The kilim & bunting! Gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteoh my GOD. that living room. that sofa! and that first little garden bar setup!!? i cannot wait to be in europe and buy a million magazines!! xo
ReplyDeleteI want to grab one giant armload of those vases on the shelf in the kitchen. Now I sound crazy but it's whatever. So appealing.
ReplyDeleteI do love the room with the bunting, especially that rug! But my fav is the brightly-colored kitchen. It just might turn me into a morning person.
ReplyDeleteGreat issue Will so much creativity!!

ReplyDeleteHi Will,
ReplyDeleteYou remind me so much of Eddie and his love affair with MSL since he was 12! Love you both!
My fave is Frond Embrace.
I recently picked up some great green and gold lacquered palm front plates, so this totally speaks to me.
Any plans to come to the Bay this summer? You're such a big shot now :)
Would love to have you...

ReplyDeleteI love the zinc topped table above. And I also love the article on displaying art as I'm doing a bit of re-decorating in the living room.
ReplyDeleteActually the front cover shows a great trunk/suitcase as a coffee table, I spotted one just like it at a charity shop just last week and now I'm kicking myself for not getting it!!
ReplyDeleteLove all the colors! And I took a special liking to that green chesterfield sofa (and of course you had already put your little note there).
