British Tea Time: Gingham, Victoria Sponge & Raspberries

Bright.Bazaar
Before cutting into this Victoria sponge cake I baked recently, I decided to snap a few quick pictures of it. Well, it looked too darn tasty not to capture its goodness before we gobbled it up quick fast. OK, so I'm clearly no photographer(!), but isn't that gingham table cloth and raspberry punnet combo rather darling?

  10. gingham is really a requirement with victoria sponge and raspberries, don't you think? i have entire childhood memories built around various delights served on red gingham. if i smell the cake, i think of gingham, and if i see gingham, i can almost taste the cake. courtesy of my grandmother. keep taking pictures! x
