My heart skipped a beat when I first saw the cover of the latest Elle Decor. Bright, airy and oozing a casual summer vibe, the cover shot told me all I needed to know - I was gonna love this issue. I've shared with you my favourite home tour, a loft space in Tribeca, NYC, which is flooded with natural light. Architect Lee Mindel was inspired by 'the simplicity and light of a Scandinavian schoolroom' and so created a similar backdrop for the artful life of Winsome Brown and Claude Arpels who live there. I love how the couple have created a stylish, non-pretentious and colourful family home. What do you like about this loft space?
Oh wow, wow wow!!! This would have to be my dream loft, so light and bright! Love it, thanks for sharing.. Xx
ReplyDeleteForgot to add, my fave thing about this space (other than all the juicy colour) would have to be the oversized pot plants/trees... What are they, do you know?
ReplyDeleteThat cover shot is my favorite! Light, bright, colorful - such a happy place.
ReplyDeleteMy fave is the top photo of the living room area which is filled with pops of color, delightful!
ReplyDeleteWill, I returned to your site to comment on your thursday's post and saw your friday's post (UK time, of course!). I have recently begun following your blog...I love the colours. I spent 11 years in London (now 17 in NY) but feel nostalgic when reading your blog. I am steering towards introducing more neutral tones in my decor but always have to have some colour, even if just a pop! Great post!
