Maybe it's because it marries with such ease to yellow (one of my favourite colours), or perhaps it's the restful vibe it gently oozes. Either way, grey really chimes a decor-loving cord within me - and it makes for the perfect hue when it comes to decorating bedrooms. The versatile colour can be called upon in various different shades for varying effect. Whilst I love the drama of the second scheme, my heart pulls me towards Gentle Romance - yes, there's the saffron yellow, but the subtle nude tones of the sheets and overall relaxed vibe also have me sold. Which scheme is for you?

ahhhh.... I love it. Grey is always a great idea in the bedroom. My favorite is masculine drama!
ReplyDeleteAhh grey! I love all the ways the different greys create completely different looks. The dark charcoal is my favourite.
ReplyDelete#3 please -- I think I just got my diy headboard revamp inspiration, thanks!
ReplyDeleteI've never been a big fan of grey or yellow until I saw how great they can look together. Now I would definitely consider both colours in the bedroom or anywhere else in the house for that matter.
ReplyDeletenever thought grey would be the color for a bedroom but these do look comfy and lovely:)

love something about each of them- although i am being drawn to #3, mainly because of the mix with natural elements- but grey and yellow is always a winning combo in my book!

I love the shade of gray in a bedroom...and I incorporated a dark gray in the form of silk lampshades and a light, airy gray in the form of a "Stay Clam and Carry On" lacquered wall art.
ReplyDeleteThey all look pretty great considering my bedroom is in quite a state of disarray and not quite done at the moment.

ReplyDeleteI could move right into the romantic bedroom, #1. Gorgeous!
ReplyDeletetoday I'm into the dark and dramatic. but ask me again tomorrow and we'll see....

ReplyDeletethese are all great so it would be hard to choose. I've been thinking a lot about painting my walls grey but haven't yet pinpointed what shade. :)

Loved #1 and #3! My husband and I picked Behr "Pensive Sky" for our bedroom thinking it would be a true light grey but it was more light blue..the next rooms we paint will definitely be grey. Thanks for the post! Your blog is an inspiration :)
ReplyDeleteI love the bed spread in "Masculin Drama" Do you know where its from?
ReplyDeleteCheers!
Great Blog!
We have a grey, yellow and white bedroom and I LOVE it. A soothing, neutral color that goes great with everything.

ReplyDeleteOoh yes, love grey in the bedroom, it's so soothing. My room is currently a mix of looks one and three, with a little hot pink thrown in too.
ReplyDeleteHey that masculine drama is.. our bedroom! Which I absolutely love.. very cozy.. I also love the gentle romance as well.. It's the mix of messy & light I love.
ReplyDeleteLove grey - especially the masculine drama! Inspiring!
ReplyDeleteRachie xo
The first thing I noticed was the pop of yellow in the first two photos. There is something close to perfection about mixing the cold grey with the warm yellow.
ReplyDeleteReally drawn to the masculine drama.
ReplyDeletelovely... but i must say, the best use of grey in the bedroom is a little george clooney. :)
ReplyDeleteGreat post I love them all! But 1 and 3 are definitely right up my street! 2 is great but I don't think I would be daring enough to do it in my own personal space!
ReplyDeleteI am really into Grey right now for rooms, these are amazing!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE grey! These are wonderful ideas, especially the one with the yellow accents - my favorite! xo, danni
