Happy Weekend

To me there is something wonderfully restful about this space. The painted wood panelling, with it's soft powder blue hue, provides an air of calm to the room. Whilst the natural textures of rattan baskets, smooth pebbles and chopped wood make the space feel all the more welcoming. I'd like to spend a weekend in this cottage, appreciating the restful qualities of country life for a few days. Whatever you are up to this weekend, friends, I hope you have a smashing time!

    Great picture, Will. It reminds me of a Pottery Barn picture. I actually have one from Pottery Barn that I've used on my blog but it is a darker gray blue with a nice long table like this one. Have a wonderful weekend!

    This is one of my favorite decorative things to do...mix family pics along other beauties on a wall. I also like to mix and match the frames as long as they fall in the same color and style. This is a great example.
