What better why to brighten up that midweek slump than with a little sneak peek into Jonathan Adler's two forthcoming books. 'Colors' and 'Accessorizing' are both out in November and you won't win any prizes for guessing how much I'm looking forward to reading them. A big thanks to Suze who gave me the heads up that the French Elle Decoration team had published these Gilles Trillard snaps of Jonathan and Simon's NYC apartment. Swoonalicious, much? We're talking symmetry to make your inner OCD yelp with delight, and enough colour to keep this Bright.Bazaar boy happy, happy, happy!

Yes indeed where would J Adler be without the chevron print. I do love their place. But one thing I will never sit in is a chair shaped like a giant gold hand.
ReplyDeleteI can't wait for them! Pre-ordered one of them (can't remember which) the minute it appeared on amazon (well, maybe not THE minute...)
ReplyDeleteI once found a pair of hand chairs like that (wooden, not gilt) for 150$ (for both) but a. I didn't have room for them. b. the seller didn't answer my email. I still dream of them sometimes...
Oh wow, I want those books!
ReplyDeleteNow I see how much I need both of the books! I think it'd be difficult for me to read them, I'd be THAT excited!
ReplyDelete"Off the scale" indeed!!!! Look at the lamps in those pics. Every single one is a swoon to the power of 479!

Love Jonathan Adler! Next stop Amazon!
ReplyDeleteThis post was a great visual feast. Of course, it would be because it's Jonathan Adler related! I never tire of seeing his home. Now, i will have to find out if my local Barnes and Noble has these books. If not, i will have to head over to good old Amazon then:-).
