{Colour Cocktail: Turquoise and Orange}

Last week's cocktail was all about soft, understated and delicate hues. This week's is bright, bold and confident and was inspired by Nancy. This is kinda like Carrie and co's Cosmopolitan - it's always gonna be a solid favourite, even if everyone starts decorating with the hot duo. Although there's a big splash of playfulness to this week's colour cocktail, it can work in sophisticated, regal schemes. Below shows a space with glam high ceilings and formal draped window dressings, which is brought to life with a strong base of Turquoise and a patterned window feature in vibrant Orange. The result? A super slick, super sun and prep-tastic space. Full marks!

    Both turquoise and orange are wonderful colours as stand alones, however when teemed together... WOW!Being almost complete opposites they go together so well. They always remind of the bold and beautiful 60's and 70's, howver are just at ease in the 21st century as you have shown

    classic invigorating color scheme!! Beautiful collection... I'm such a fan of that emeco chair!! I've used it on a client's job in the barstool, but never seen it in orange... how is that possible?? I love it!

    I think these are great nursery colors. It's a fresh approach to "We're not finding out, so let's do canary yellow or sage green". Love, love it :)
