{Living Etc July 2010}

Oh my word! I have so much I want to write about this brilliant issue of Living Etc. It's definitely a front-runner for their issue of the year. Why? Well, first there's the cracking dining room from their house of the month tour (3) and the gorgeous zebra print rugs it holds. (Pssst, if you've fallen in love with the rugs, you can enter to win a very similar one right now on Ashlina's lovely blog). Then, there's a host of great features, including: outdoor decorating (4); a light, bright and airy Sydney-based home tour (5, 6); ways to use reclaimed items for decorating (9) and ideas for creating serene bedrooms (10). Plus, there's a free summer food supplement from the incredibly talented Donna Hay - check out that to-die-for azure blue and yellow colour combo (11).

Living Etc's July issue is out now, so if you like what you see, please buy a copy - I promise you won't regret it and we need to support our favourite shelter mags!

  1. Oh how lovely Will! I'm in love with the neutral tones of the first bathroom shot - stunning!

  2. OooOO Will you are so right. I'm going to have to stop by Borders and pick up a copy.

  3. Wow! That all looks so good. And you know I could tell the Sydney home as soon as it appeared on my screen - maybe it was the airiness or the casual beach look of the owner but there is something about Sydney homes!

  4. I love this! These pics are all great! I may have to steal one from you! Luvs!

  5. I really like those bird prints, but moving on - I LOVE what that woman is wearing!!!!!

  6. i love your reviews. dont know what i would do without them.

  9. Oh, I love this!
    I'm drawn to photographs of horses lately, inexplicably.

    So bright and fresh.
    And I even like Bermuda chair, much to my own surprise!

  10. This looks like a really fun issue (and magazine). I'm not fully understanding the phone on the cover, but that's ok! I'm sure it works.

  11. Oh you big tease! Us poor cousins down here in the antipodes wopn't get this issue for several weeks yet.

    And it certainly does look like a goody. Fabulous images! jules

  12. OY!! SOOOO good! I can't wait to go see it for myself!!
