Green is one of those colours that can either go so right (1) or be a total decorating disaster. I'd recommend using it as a surprise pop of colour, perhaps as an accent in one dining chair out of four, or try introducing different shades more subtly through a variety of plants (2). Out of these lovely images, I'd choose the green lantern shades from the first image - cheap and cheerful, but what a fantastic statement feature they make.
