{Stylist Tim Neve}

Happy Monday morning, friends! I hope you've all had great weekends? I'm pleased to see that spring is on the way, and that the mornings are getting lighter. March is one of my favourite months of the year (not just because it's my birthday month!) but because the air feels fresh and warmer weather is just around the corner.
Today I wanted to share with you the work of stylist Tim Neve. Based in Australia, Tim's work caught my eye instantly with his ability to make an apartment look stylish using only beige-coloured hues. Yes, I know, this shocked me too! As many of you know, I'm a huge lover of colour, but Tim's work got me thinking and actually, in this spread from Real Living magazine, there is a myriad of textures and senses that create a room full of personality, using only the softest of shades available.

Check out this post over on Apartment Therapy, where he talks you through how he made this beach-chic driftwood table lamp. I promise, his creativity won't fail to inspire you! Later today I'll share with you his home office, which is so different from his work in Real Living magazine, but super stylish. No shocker there, then!

  1. It evokes a sense of calmness don't you think? I feel I should float off now to get a cup of something herbal...isn't it magical how colour can make us feel

  2. Hey Samantha! I agree, it's a very relaxing colour palette. Colour is amazingly powerful, especially in interior spaces. Love colour!

  3. As an avid color lover, I have to admit that these beige tones in great textures are quite lovely. Sometimes, the eye needs a rest.
    Lovely, thanks for sharing.

  4. Hey Beth! I'm with you on loving colour. I like the sensual experience that Tim has created in this room; I think it makes up for the lack of bright colours.

  5. He is a spectacular stylist! Having recently moved from a home FULL of color, I made a decision in this place to keep everything light-ish and neutral-ish. I've been living this way for a year and haven't looked back since!

  6. Nice to hear that you have a similar style as the apartment Tim styled for Real Living, Scott! I totally agree with you - what a great stylist!

  7. I love the generous use of white and natural shades. Really brightens up the room and it feels so soothing!
