{Inspirational styling from DecorMaison}

There's a sure fire way to win our hearts over here at Bright.Bazaar: gorgeous, quirky, original styling. At this time of year there are countless companies, all of whom are vying for ones' attention with their new collections. As firm believers in the importance of presentation and attention to detail, we were delighted when we found these brilliant images of DecorMaison's new collection over on Emma's 'designblogg'.

Titled 'Oas', Oasis in English, Decor Maison's new wallpaper collection is a dream - one of the papers even looks inspired by another of our print favourites, Orla Kiely. It's great to see a company using their imagination to style their products. The amount of effort gone into creating these various caravan shoots has paid off - they've created quirky, almost fanciful room sets, yet the concept works and you can imagine yourself living in the various rooms. Simply placing the caravan within either urban, coastal or country environments, provides all the context needed for the viewer to interpret the interior in which the different wallpapers should be used.

Do you look for imaginative styling when sourcing products for your home? Which caravan room set is your favourite?

{Make, Do & Send}

Stop press! Bright.Bazaar has found a great new blog and we just can't get enough of it at the mo. Make, Do & Send is ran by Alex who has a passion for all things printable. As a self confessed lover of diy stationary, Alex uses her newly formed blog to share her thoughts and general musings on all sorts of handmade, printable loveliness.

Regular readers of Bright.Bazaar will know of our love for Orla Kiely's work, so you can imagine our excitement when Alex shared a fantastic craft project featuring none other than off cuts of Kiely's wallpaper. Alex found out about the project through Heart Handmade (another lovely craft blog), and made her own version using leftover Laura Ashley wallpaper. We recently used leftover wallpaper to get crafty with an Ikea table; it's great to discover how many other inspiring products you can create with scraps of wallpaper. Thanks, Alex!

{Orla Kiely - office inspiration}

Office spaces are all too often considered work-only places and therefore end up becoming dumping grounds for paperwork and various other uninspiring paraphernalia. Over at Bright.Bazaar we love to see an office space that's not only practical, but also effortlessly inspiring. Orla Kiely's  office (shown above) is proof that offices can be creative and yet functional at the same time. Kiely's colourful personality shines through here, just as it does in her gorgeous fabric designs. The industrial bright green sideboard works so well to offset the feminine prints and designs that fill her office.

Based in a purpose built, three-storey building in Clapham, South London, the design business is a haven for creativity, where down-to-earth boss Orla likes to work at the same level as her staff. "There are six of us based here and we do everything on the design side, from coming up with initial concepts to creating finished products, including clothes, accessories and homeware. We're a team so even though I'm in charge, I didn't want a grand, hierarchical desk," Kiely explained in a recent interview with The Observer's Charlotte Abrahams. Bright.Bazaar loves this philosophy and thinks it's high time we invested in some colourful new Orla Kiely bits...just in time for summer! Here's what we've got our eye on:
