Tablescape: Studio Fleurette | Photography: Kristina Lynn Photography
Hurrah, the weekend has arrived! What are your plans, friends? My friend Rachie and her fiancé are coming over for a dinner party at mine, so throughout the week I've been looking for tablescape inspiration. The moment I set eyes on this Craspedia themed table I knew it was the ideal starting point for tonight's dinner. Why? Well, Craspedia is my favourite flower and the yellow hue will go perfectly with the dark navy walls of the dining area. OK, so my little apartment in central London doesn't offer a setting quite as beautiful as we see here (hello, isn't it dreamy!) but I know the company will be great, and there will be lashings of colour and conversation. A perfect dinner, right? Have a great one, folks!
Craspedias are beautiful! Love the color and hope you have a great dinner party! ;)

ReplyDeletehang the crespedia upsidedown for a couple of weeks when the party is over and they will last for over a year. The gift that keeps on giving! Have a great party, Will!

ReplyDeleteoh, is that what they are? they're so sculptural and sweetly shaped. the white glass vases made my heart skip a beat. x
ReplyDeleteThey are sometimes called Billy Balls or Billy Buttons as well! x
Deletevery nice tablescape.

ReplyDeleteI might copy this myself. REALLY like the "Buttons" together with white orchids and twigs. And I already have those white Ikea vases!
Happy weekend to you all!

I concur with Ms Splendid Willow above! One of these days we will just have to do lunch. Craspedias or not!" :)
ReplyDeleteI love a bare twig and simple flower arrangements. So Scandi of me right?! :)
I know you'll add a twist here and there and make the table look magic Will. Have a fantastic dinner party and please snap some pics of your interpretation of this theme.
Big hugs

Your table will look gorgeous with the Craspedia - the colour is so bright + cheerful + you're right; with fabulous conversation + company that will make for a perfect evening. Enjoy the weekend Will xx
