Hurrah! The weekend has arrived and after a manic week of work I am so pleased to have two relaxing days ahead. I'm going to be heading out of London for some countryside time, catching up with friends and maybe a little bit of baking, too. What are your plans, friends? I hope there's something fun on your weekend agenda! Here I've shared the tear sheets from my latest Will's Picks feature in
Sweet Paul magazine, which is titled
'An Antique Christmas'. It's centred around tabletop and decorating ideas for an antique Christmas with a modern twist, with a few craft suggestions thrown into the mix. Plus, I rounded up product from across the decorating market to help readers replicate the look. How fun are those crown tea light holders? Which product do you like best? You can read the whole feature
here. Have a top weekend, folks!
Fantastic feature Will. Classy, fun and really cute pieces. Thanks for the tips. Have you got your sledge off Mary (@Peagreen98) yet. We need to go to the aspen home that I blogged about! hahaha
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend :)
Seen it in Sweet Paul Magazine of course :-) I think my favorite is the white, green and gold palette, in different textures and hues. And the snow globes. I like it when they are monocrome and simple like these.
ReplyDeleteCan't you tell us a little more about your job? Did you pick the props AND do the actual styling for this feature? If so, is that the way it usually work? Or what do you do? :-)
@Stuart - Thank you! Yes, let's get our sledges and hit the slopes!
ReplyDelete@Jamie - Thanks for reading it! I wrote and researched this feature! To see features I styled search my work on the blog! As an interiors journalist and prop stylist, I write and research some articles and others I prop style for them, just depends! xx
My plan...drink wine, meet friends for dinner and maybe shop a bit. Enjoy your time out of the city, it's so nice to get out every now and then. Enjoy! xo
ReplyDeleteLove your antique Christmas pics Will... Have a great weekend... xv
ReplyDeleteOoh baking and a trip to the country - sounds like a brilliant weekend! Congrats on your feature Will; I love the idea of antique styling for Christmas. Have a wonderful weekend xx
ReplyDeleteHappy folk week-end!
ReplyDeleteLove the woodland tree and I'm always a sucker for crafty ideas like the snow globes. Great story Will! Enjoy your time off!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on the feature, Will. Love your fun and fabulous snow globe idea using jars! Adore the crown tea light holders as well, they are so whimsical!
ReplyDeleteHope your weekend is fabulous so far, Will! Happy Sunday!

I loved your SweetPaul feature this month! Such a gorgeous tabletop. Loving the idea of those snow globes - think I might just try that for my table as the little ones will love it - and there are (at least) 3 of them sharing my christmas dinner!! Happy Weekend!
