I'm so pleased that the weekend has arrived, folks! Thank you all for your company here this week. Over the next couple of days I have some serious crafting to get on with for an upcoming holiday feature (more soon!) - and I'm unashamedly looking forward to a cosy night in on Saturday. What are your plans this weekend? With the temperatures falling here in London (hurrah - I love autumn) the blistering sunshine in these images from the Neon Boneyard, Las Vegas are helping to inspire potential colour schemes. Sea foam green and orange? Now there's an idea for an updated take on traditional autumnal palette...! Have a lovely one, friends.

ReplyDeleteIt's a lovely hot day here in Cape Town so I'm off to a braai (bbq) and a swim in my friend's pool.(Altho I must say, I do miss those nice crisp and fresh Autumn days in the UK...). Happy weekend!

ReplyDeleteThese photos are really spectacular. Vegas is synonomous with neon and I love the sense of these faded/decaying glory days. I agree about the colour combinations being inspiring. The baby blue, scarlet red and whitish-grey of the motel sign would make a great young boy's room or well-lit sitting room, I feel.

Will, I'd been wanting to stop by here for ages; I'm loving the blast of color now that I finally have stopped by! (I think I needed some color after realizing I'd worn all black yesterday, and a mix of black and gray today. Yikes...!)

I love autumn too but it's currently 26C here in the Ottawa region at 6PM and they're announcing 30C for tomorrow... Hmmmm I think we had more than one indian summers lol
