Habitat is to Europe like West Elm is to America: A brand that offers contemporary and accessible designs for those of us who are just starting out through to the high flyers of this world, with city crash pads and weekend country escapes. Habitat's Christmas offering is one of their strongest from the past two years. Expect to find a mix of modernist ornaments in the form of porcelain owls, ice blue baubles and sleek, matt white decorations. Mixed in amongst their their red, white and blue ranges are some fantastic folksy designs (I used some of them in my Rue Christmas shoot) and they have a charming, timeless quality to them. Let's dive in and check out the fab festive looks the brand has created for us this year.

ReplyDeleteI spend hours in habitat when I'm in the UK- love everything! Prices are good and the merchandising is always brilliant!
ReplyDeleteI love your Christmas images, too cool!
Love the simplicity of the ideas - did you string the decorations in the first photo? I collect spheres and love to decorate with blues, clear and silver for Christmas so this is a great idea for my tree in a miniature form. Jennifer jennsthreegraces pop in!
ReplyDeleteStunning - that christmas wreath is gorgeous and i am coveting that christmas tree candle holder - I may have to make a purchase!

ReplyDeleteI have a habitat near me in Republique and often wander through after I have finished at the gym. Lovely images. Carla
ReplyDeleteThe one name you need to know and remember from this post is Rebecca McEvoy. She is Habitat's very talented and beautiful stylist. She use to be Style Editor on British ELLE Decoration when I worked there.
ReplyDeleteAhh, Habitat. Every time we visit London, we spend way too much there. they don't ship to Canada, which may be a good thing ;)
ReplyDeleteHave a good day, Will!
Love the staircase! Your posts are stunning!

I've alwaysd loved Habitat and even wished we would get a store here, but I guess that just that wishful thinking. The Christmas decor is so lovely.
ReplyDeleteI love this, I'll have to add Habitat to my shopping next time I'm over in Europe.
ReplyDeleteI love those antlers on the wall!
Great to read that you're all loving Habitat's Christmas collections. We decorated with their ice blue baubles this year (the ones from the first image) and they look grand.
ReplyDeleteJennifer - I didn't style this work; it was done by their stylist, Rebecca McEvoy. Your blues for Christmas sound lovely!
Gosh, you are making me miss London so much! Scooting down to Habitat was one of my fave past times and I can only wish I'd be able to do it again this Christmas..!
ReplyDeleteIs that a sad bird on the night stand in pic no 1? If so, I want to adopt it..!
Also loved the stringed ball lamps. I want some badly - would look great in a tropical Christmas setting like here. Please tell your friends at Habitat to open here in Sydney.. or if not possible before July next year.. they can go for Stockholm..! :)
Hugs
xx C

ReplyDeleteIs it wrong that I want magical door lighting chains on my doors all year round? I think not.

We had a Habitat in Spain and I LOVED it! I do not understand why Copenhagen doesn't have one, but I told my husband that we needed to visit Hamburg before Christmas. He thinks it for touristy stuff, but really I just want to go to Habitat!
ReplyDeleteLast year, we trimmed a little plastic tree with tiny baubles from Habitat and it was wonderful. This year's collection is even better than the last and I love the natural feel. Thanks for posting this and allowing me to browse the Habitat magic vicariously!
