This cocktail is for the Nigella's of this world. You know, those of us who wake in the middle of the night and trot down to the kitchen to whip up a fabulous fruit gateau, whilst gently flirting with the camera. Similarly, whenever midnight blue finds itself in the same scheme as chalkboard black, the flirtatious twosome can't help but tease one another. However, they are always careful not to step on each other's toes; if Mrs. Black is ruling the roost, then Mr. Blue knows he's to let go of the limelight. To ensure the cocktail works its seductive magic it's important to keep the flirting between these two strong hues at bay. Achieve this with a bold wall in shimmering midnight blue hues and ground it with deep, sensual black accent accessories.

Will this is by far the sexiest color cocktail that you have put together so far. I love to see unexpected colors together. Happy Weekend.
ReplyDeleteI hope you did not choose black and blue because you are bruised from your accident. I actually love the combination in design but not in a bruise, Kathysue
ReplyDeleteThanks, gang! I love that sidetable - it's so graphic and striking.
ReplyDelete..did I not comment on this?.. My penicillin saturated brain is not quite itself these days..
ReplyDeleteLove midnight blue and black as a combo. Such a gorgeous and timeless marriage that works for so many areas of a home. I particularly love it mixed with natural wood & cane colours and white. Swap the black for mahogany also works for me.
Finger lickingly good my dear!
xx C
