I don't know where to start with this fun and fabulous space; for me it's all so good. It's an eclectic and colourful space tied together with industrial metal finishes and soft, neutral furniture, which makes me want to call my buddies and get together for an impromptu evening of good food and wine. That mantle is pretty much my ideal mantle and don't get me started on how excited I am by those open kitchen shelves. Plus, that hugely European stone floor...I die! Right, time to stop being all swoonful and see how to recreate this playful kitchen space...

I agree... what a great kitchen! You are getting real good at finding things to recreate a space. Copy Cat Chic... Look Out!!!!
ReplyDeleteThank you Will for the lovely anniversary wishes... you are the sweetest guy :)

I always love a vintage inspired look, always reminds me of the great meals my Grandmother prepared.
ReplyDeleteHey Will that kitchen says, "Fun and smiles for all" Love it. Can't wait to see what you wind up doing. Love the checked table cloth. You will have fun thrifting to find the nostalgic kitchen items. Happy Week,Kathysue
ReplyDeleteOh great post Will! I love all the retro pieces you chose, so fun! Hope you had a great weekend!
ReplyDeletethanks will-your blog looks great!
ReplyDeleteWill -- your blog has this peaceful, playful, eclectic charm about it that instantly relaxes me after a long day at work.
ReplyDeleteJust had to comment on your excellent taste, esp. as it seems to be quite American here; very diner-esque in the best of ways. An ideal space for extended pancake breakfasts! I think I need to do a post on my fav breakfast spot in Seattle, which occupies this old Victorian house and feels like a movie set. All vintage 50's furniture. You'd love it!!
Anyway, hope all is well with you. (So what's going on re Greece?)
XO
Michael

So great! I love that vintage-y, industrial clock the most. Plus, it looks like this baker, cook, chef, sandwich artist has plenty of space. That's always a good thing.
ReplyDeleteI love this post! Please do more like this one with all kinds of looks!
ReplyDeleteHi Will, love the space and all the retro accents in this kitchen particulary what look like melamine kitchen units in 50's shades in the foreground. Am building my kitchen and really would like to get my hands on those very units - if only I could find them, have scoured the net. They look new/reproduction models to my eye. If you had a link to the supplier or the manufacturer I would be forever indebted!! Thankyou Jason
ReplyDelete@ Jason - Thanks for stopping by! I'm afraid I don't know where the cabinets are from. Good luck with your search!
