I've always enjoyed drawn-out late lunches that stretch into the late evening, especially during summer when I'm outside in the garden. I'm willing the weather to get warm enough here in the UK for my first alfresco dinner of the year! I tell myself it's because of the lovely barbecued food, but really it's because I'm longing to light some candles and make my own mini one of these...

I love it. In my years BK (before kids) I always had a little garden party at my homes, with all of the dreaminess of flowers and candles and crickets. When you put yours together, please, do share.

I'm enamoured with the idea of dining outdoors but the awfully warm weather here is a deterrent. I've always thought an outdoor wedding reception would feel perfect.
ReplyDeleteGreat post! That last shot reminds me of a scene from Brothers and Sisters. (It's a TV series in the US, set in California.)
