AURA Living's Bedding and Dining Collection

Along with a desire to visit two good friends who are currently living in Australia, I've now found a third reason to make a trip Down Under - to visit AURA Home. The Australian brand created by Tracie Ellis has recently released it's latest collection, this time expanding beyond bedding to include tabletop linens. Celebrating their 10th anniversary both the bedding and tabletop offerings cater to a range of design tastes. Whether you like to go bold with graphic prints or keep things muted with gentle hues, there's a solid mix of designs and finishes to suit your preferences. Some of my favourite pieces include the Inka table runner, which was inspired by the graphic steps of the Inka Trail - it's saturated hue reminiscent of South America's strong, bold colours. Given my love for colour, it's no surprise that I also gravitate towards the Seinna Caribbean bedding (2), which is described as having a breathtaking blue of a tropical lagoon. Which of the bedding and tabletop looks appeal to you?

Day Birger et Mikkelsen Fall Collection 2011

Photography by Ditte Isager
Ditte Isager always captures the essence of a brand so well through her lens, and her photographs for the Day Biger et Mikkelsen fall collection are testament to this fact. I really like the slightly foggy, almost Dickens-like feel to how the collection has been shot. As for the products themselves, well, there's the usual mix of the brand's monogrammed pillows, patterned textiles and softly coloured accessories. Do you like the Day Home offering?

Mini Moderns' Latest Wallpaper Collection

The creative duo - Keith Stephenson and Mark Hampshire - over at Mini Moderns have just released their latest wallpaper design, Hold Tight, which is the final print in the brand's Day-tripper collection that celebrates British culture, hobbies and pastimes. The Hold Tight design is based on the duo's collection of vintage London bus tickets (how fun!) and comes in a wallpaper available in three colourways: mustard, harvest orange and lichen - along with a coordinating cushion, tea towel and tote bag. The mustard yellow colourway gets my vote, which one would you pick?
