Zara Home
Ah, I do love this time of year. Why? Well, as March arrives I know that spring is within touching distance. The crocuses and daffodils spring up from the ground in abundance, while each day feels a little warmer, a little lighter. Whatsmore, March is the month we see many stores start to fill up with their spring/summer offerings. Zara Home are doing just that, with their latest collections filtering in at present. I've rounded up their products into two themes - Graphic Nautical and Feminine Brights. Graphic Nautical is all about bold navy patterns set against crisp white base hues. There's the occasional pop of red (which works wonders for this year's Jubilee!) but the main elements of this look - the white and blue duo - spans across their living room, bathroom and bedroom categories. The second, Feminine Brights, offers us a very different look, one that's awash with soft pink, washed-out orange, silky jade green and light saffron yellow shades. Notice how they've styled the colourful tableware cabinet in the relaxed, effortless way I wrote about last week? I think it looks fantastic! That said, I'm also drawn to the stripes, blue hues and natural, tactile textures of the nautical-inspired pieces. Which look is flirting with your interior eye, friends?
i LOVE the feminine brights!!
ReplyDeleteOh, how I wish we have Zara in the states! Would love to mix and match some nautical and feminine brights together... I'm just one of those who love the best of both worlds. :) Love all of their kitchenware too!
ReplyDeleteHahaha! This made me laugh; my kinda gal!
DeleteOH. MY. HEAVEN! This is my favorite post ever!
ReplyDeletedying! the stripes, the pinks... I couldn't choose a favorite. thankfully we DON'T have Zara home here. Teri
ReplyDeleteI can't deny the pink! Never left a Zara Home empty handed...unfortunately we don't have them here. Sounds like a good enough reason to move to me!
ReplyDeleteHow seriously amazing is Zara Home?!
ReplyDeleteI had my first visit there last week - I posted about the new collections on my blog here -> www.illusiveprint.com/2012/03/store-spotlight-zara-home.html
I love how colourful & uplifting everything is, I may have to pop back for some of those nautical bath towels :))

will - whatever is that thing right of the trunk in pic 5? is it a torpedo? oy vey! at first i thought it was a vintage olive jar, but upon closer inspection.... oh those stylists!
ReplyDeleteTee hee, this made me chuckle A vintage olive jar... now that would be a lotta olives!
DeleteIt's ALL so gorgeous! I so wish we had Zara home here! For now, I will just lust after every single item....
ReplyDeleteI'm in love with all things nautical! Love the contrast between deep navy blue and crisp bright white. So jealous Zara Home is not in Canada. I would love to have that chevron rug and those striped sheets!!
ReplyDeleteYes, that contrast of navy and white really stuck out to me as well, Tim. So graphic and eye-catching!
DeleteDo I really need to mention what I love most here?? Right, no need, you know it:-))
ReplyDeleteAh you guys are heading for the warmer weather as we head for the cooler months! Luckily I can appreciate good spring colours at any time! Loving those feminine brights Will!

I am a huge fan of zara home so cannot wait to see these in store, especially love the feminine brights collection although the tableware looks quite familiar don't you think.... http://www.seletti.it/table/01imug.html ??
ReplyDeleteAhh I love it all Will! I wish we had Zara home here! I just love all of these feminine brights - so happy + cheerful and perfect for Spring! xx
ReplyDeleteThe Zara Home collection is always amazing!
ReplyDeleteI absolutely love Zara Home. It's a great store to pick up cute accessories so you feel like you've had a change or added something new, without spending crazy amounts of money. The feminine brights are my fav.
ReplyDeleteI agree - affordable luxury is how I like to refer to it! ;)
Deleteyes, I'll take all the white and blue stuff ;-)
ReplyDeleteI think the Graphic Nautical pips it for me, in part because of the striped bed sheets! I use my mum's pretty patterned vintage sheets and pillowcases with white duvet and pillowcases to give a flash of colour contrast next to the white bed linen :)
ReplyDeleteWow, we just barely have Zara clothing shops here in the states but I really like the pink bedroom with the striped {plaid?} bedspread and the white with blue embroidery. Too bad there aren't home stores around here yet, I would love to check it out.
ReplyDeleteOh I love love love it! I wish we had them here in the states. Looks like a trip to the UK with an extra suitcase should be in my future!
ReplyDeleteI'm seeing a lot of the blue and white pattern emerge again recently - something i had in my decor years ago. I like the way it is teamed up with strength of the antique wood and the soft stripe rather than pretty-pretty way it is usually presented.
ReplyDeleteAnd I agree with the earlier comment ... Hello!! Zara @ Home, we are tapping our toes in North America waiting for you {especially here in Canada}.
Beige IS boring! We agree ::)) Love the cabinet with the colorful china! Yum Yum!
ReplyDeleteXoX/ PerfectionMakesMeYawn
Goodness the crispness of the blues plus the delicate details are just ahhh. Nautical is a weakness for me. I also wish we had Zara Home here in the states, but nonetheless, I will enjoy their work here. :)I agree, the striped sheets really do add an interesting touch to the whole look!
ReplyDeleteRight? Those sheets had me from the off! ;)
DeleteThanks for your really lovely comment today Will! Loving the feminine brights range here, LOVE that tableware cabinet!x
ReplyDeleteI love Zara Home. Great and amazing ideas
