Conran: New Wallpaper, Windows and Market Picks

There's lots of fun and exiting happenings going on at Conran. First off, and to celebrate Sir Terrance Conran's 80th birthday, Conran have allowed Surface View access to a range of mid-century prints from their V&A archives. Photographed here with their new Barton range in partnership with Ercol - a seven piece range of solid oak furniture (shown above/below). Their visual team have been busy creating a 'Sunrise to Sunset' theme for their summer windows, depicting a summer's day from breakfast to evening drinks, with morning and evening birdsong playing in each section. I certainly need to hot foot it down there to see it in person, especially given how beautiful their spring windows were. Finally, I've shared a few picks from The Conran Shop's summer range, because let's face it: these guys stock some seriously tempting pieces! Anything catch your eye? Marks & Spencer - Spring/Summer Home Collection 2011

In recent years the UK department stores have stepped up their homeware offerings and the latest spring/summer collection from Marks and Spencer is testament to this improvement. The floral print cushions are perfectly on trend, while their pastel hued range of cookery accessories key into the nostalgic country kitchen look that's back in the spotlight. As well as a beautiful collection, the location used for styling it is breathtakingly beautiful - I'd love a bedroom with shuttered windows, and isn't that outdoor courtyard space dreamy?!

The White Company: Spring/Summer 2011 Collection

The latest collection from The White Company offers a range of gorgeous neutrals and white hues that are perfect for summer entertaining. As a fan of brights I'm always keen to mix in some crisp white shades to refresh my more punchy hues - The White Company is my first stop for such pieces. They've styled their spring/summer 2011 offering to great effect - just check out those bedrooms! I really like that well stocked pantry and wooden box organiser; what pieces do you like?

West Elm - High Summer Collection 2011

Hurrah! The summer 2011 collection from west elm is finally here and includes a divine mix of tabletop and textiles, as well as a newly launched west elm Kitchen range. The collection features three collaborators including David Stark (Mediterranean inspired entertaining), Lourdes Sanchez (pillows and prints) and Stray Dog Designs (paper-mache accessories and lighting). Whilst I do love their new kitchen range and Sanchez's sea life inspired pillows, especially the whale design, it's David Stark's work that stands out for me. I like Stark's philosophy of taking ordinary items and turning them into extraordinary pieces and was interested to learn that he is a classically trained painter. This skill is apparent in his watercolour tableware, which sits alongside the flowers he made from canvas. What stands out for you from west elm's summer 2011 collection?

Rice Spring/High Summer 2011 & Market Picks

Not only are they ethically sound, they also produce beautifully, lovingly crafted, super colourful products. Yes, Rice are pretty darn fab! Their spring and high summer collections are a feast for the eyes, from vibrantly covered photo frames and lampshades to melamine kitchenware in almost any shade imaginable, their latest offering is like Aladdin's cave. I simply can't pick a favourite because it's all wonderful, but I do really, really love the storage boxes I picked out in the market picks. Which pieces are your favourite?
