Red Living Magazine: Pastel Perfect

I don't about you folks but I've been crushing on pastels for months now. Do you remember Charlotte Love's pretty pastels shoot? It was one of those shoots you look at and think: 'Wowee, there are some super duper talented people in this world'. Well, speaking of talented people, one of my creative idols Mary Norden has yet again delivered an inspiring editorial for Red magazine. Notice how she mixed in occasional flashes of neon into the pastel tones; these small additions of stronger, bolder hues stop the finished look from feeling too staid. The pastel trend gains further ground with each new collection we see, both on and off the catwalk. Personally I have my eye on the wide stripe tablecloth and colour block throw pillows.
